Bio
Dmitry Barinov, Vice President of Technology for Avast’s Digital Trust Services business, is a recognized industry leader with 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Security. He heads an industry-leading team responsible for design and implementation of Avast Digital Trust Services, including federated authentication and Digital ID solutions and supporting various projects in public and private industries across the globe with tens of millions of customers. As part of his activities, Dmitry leads various initiatives at industry and standards bodies such as DIACC and W3C.
Prior to Avast, Dmitry has held a role of CTO at SecureKey, a Canadian Digital Identity top innovator and a number of progressively senior positions at one of Top 5 Canadian Banks. In these roles he has led and delivered numerous transformational and innovative payment, security, identity, and risk solutions. Dmitry holds master’s degrees in Computer Science and in Economics. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) professional. Dmitry has a number of industry related patents in his name.
