Andrew Piscione is an engineer with 7+ years of experience in strategic roles across Latin America, Europe, and the U.S. A former consultant, he has led digital transformation for international fintechs, advised on crypto investments for Valor Capital Group, and consulted for McKinsey.org.
A recognized thought leader in blockchain and digital identity, Andrew has delivered TED Talks and spoken at renowned industry events, including ETH Buenos Aires, where he was part of the main room opening panel. Actively engaged in LATAM startups and regulatory advocacy, he has shaped conversations around decentralized identity and financial inclusion.
He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and now serves as Co-Founder & CSO of Blerify, a spinoff of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the largest development bank in Latin America. At Blerify, he leads strategy, operations, and market expansion, spearheading the digitalization of driver’s licenses and government documents. Working alongside his co-founder Marcos Allende, a leading expert in digital wallets and identity in LATAM, Andrew is driving the adoption of user-centric, verifiable credentials to empower individuals and modernize public services.
