Frederik Mennes is a product strategy executive with 20 years of experience, strong engineering background, and deep expertise in authentication, identity, security and developments in regulation and fraud in the financial services area.
Currently acting as Director of Product Management & Business Strategy at OneSpan, he is a recognized speaker in the information security field, with speaking engagements at Trustech, Money 20/20, RSA Conference, InfoSecurity Europe, etc. In the past Frederik contributed to the widely adopted OATH authentication standards, and is now active with the FIDO Alliance.
He holds M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science Engineering (University of Leuven, Belgium, 2003) and Information Security (Royal Holloway, University of London, 2004) and an MBA degree (Vlerick Business School, Belgium, 2013).
