2026 Presentation Guidance

Authenticate Speaker Presentation Guidance

Thank you for your participation in Authenticate 2026! Our goal is to deliver high-quality, vendor-neutral content that advances the authentication ecosystem. Please review the following requirements carefully.

1. Content Expectations

All content should be…

  • aligned with the approved title and abstract.
  • factually accurate.
  • appropriately vendor-neutral and unbiased.

Authenticate attracts a highly knowledgeable audience of security professionals, technologists, product leaders, and decision-makers. Sessions that are not sponsored must be vendor neutral. Sponsored sessions may reference vendor technology, but should do so factually and in context. The focus must remain on implementation insights and broader learnings—not product features.

All presentations, including sponsored sessions, must be reviewed and approved prior to the event. The program committee reserves the right to require revisions as part of the content review process. The decision of the Conference Chair is final.

2. Template Requirements

All presentations must use the official Authenticate 2026 slide template unless permission has been received from the conference chair. Presentations submitted outside of the approved template will be returned for correction. Download the template here

3. Content Review & Approval

All presentations in the main agenda, including sponsored sessions, must be reviewed and approved prior to the event. The review process is a key part of our quality assurance process, helping to ensure a good experience for presenters and audience alike. We may request revisions to your material in line with our content guidance, but it is not the intention of the committee to editorialize.

For information on how to complete the review process, view these instructions.

Please be respectful of the content committee’s time and expertise by engaging positively and on time with the review process. In particular, note that:

  • A draft deck must be submitted by the communicated deadline.
  • Feedback may be provided and revisions required.
  • Final approval from the committee is required prior to presentation.
  • Only approved versions may be presented onsite.

Substantive changes to your material after final approval require written consent from the conference team. The decision of the Conference Chair is final.

4. Slide Best Practices

  • Ensure your material will fit comfortably within the time allocated.  Less is more: concentrating on the key, single message you want to get across will keep your presentation focused.
  • Even if you don’t think you will need them, including some speaker notes is encouraged to help the committee understand your narrative during their review; and will be a useful prompt when you’re presenting to help you avoid forgetting any critical points.
  • Consider using animations only where they will genuinely help comprehension.  Remember that animations will not render when the slides are distributed to attendees as PDFs. In some cases, you may have better results splitting builds across multiple slides rather than animating on a single slide.
  • Keep slides clear and concise.
  • Avoid excessive text; balance between text and images.
  • Text and images should be easily readable from a distance. Consider running the Accessibility Checker in PowerPoint to catch any low-contrast combinations.
  • Define acronyms on first use.
  • Ensure that all content is approved for public presentation, not subject to confidentiality requirements, and respectful of any copyright or other usage requirements. The Conference Organizers, including the Content Committee, accept no liability for any errors or omissions made by any individual presenter.

We appreciate your contribution and look forward to your participation in Authenticate 2026. If you have questions regarding content suitability or presentation requirements, please contact the conference team at [email protected]
