Global Privacy Lead, Socure
Annie C. Bai – CIPP/US, CIPP/C, CIPM and FIP – is an NYU-educated attorney and U.C. Berkeley economics undergraduate. She is currently the Global Privacy Lead for Socure, a leading digital identity verification solution. She advises on privacy legal and compliance, as well as privacy as product, policy and strategy for the fintech and related industries. Annie is also an Advisor to the Technology Operations Committee for Per Scholas, an IT workforce training nonprofit, and sits on various boards of local nonprofits. She was previously the Data Protection Officer at SwissRe covering both the Americas region and having a global remit with the Corporate Solutions business unit; and the Chief Privacy Officer at Single Stop, a national anti-poverty nonprofit. She has lectured on Modern Privacy Law for Pace Law School’s New Directions for Attorneys program and is an active blogger and speaker on privacy and security risks, and on digital identity.
