In 2025, it is expected that there will be more than 75 billion connected devices, which means that there will be more than 75 billion opportunities for phishing scams, man-in-the-middle attacks, and other malicious attempts to steal credentials and compromise internet users and organizations.

However, as the number of cyber security breaches rise, organizations that have implemented FIDO-based authentication have seen a sharp decrease in successful attacks with proven cost and productivity savings.
