With a 90% household penetration for streaming video services, why is it still so hard to sign in on your connected TV device?

While device rendezvous codes eliminated much of the old pain of entering credentials with the remote control, users must still sign into a website or mobile app to enter the code. Unless we re-use passwords, it is likely that we now need to enter the Forgot Password flow.
