Bio
Dereck Henson is a Technical Staff Architect in Member Identity and Access Management at USAA. He is responsible for setting the security architecture for USAA Member authentication, proofing, recovery, and registration capabilities. He has been with USAA for sixteen years covering application infrastructure, services development, mobile, continuous integration, build systems and security. Dereck holds a master’s degree in Business and Information Assurance from University of Texas San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Computer science and almost math from Texas A&M.
