Dana Huang

Director of Engineering for Enterprise & Security , Microsoft

Bio

Dana Huang is the Director of Engineering for Enterprise & Security in Microsoft Azure organization. In her current role, Dana leads the engineering group of security and management platforms for Cloud and Edge products across Microsoft, including billions of Windows client, server, Azure cloud hosts, and devices, to protect user, systems, and data in operating systems and application workloads. She has held a large number of roles in Microsoft on a breath of technologies and products from devices to cloud, including half of the time in the security space in authentication, authorization, platform integrity,  data protection, and trust management. Password-less, strong authentication, and credential protections are a few initiatives she drives in Microsoft.

Dana is an engineer with passion on technology and building things with patents in systems and security over the years. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University of China and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Utah State University. Speaker experience includes being a co-host for Microsoft Forum to 500+ senior leaders. Dana is a strong advocate to bring and grow diversity to the software industry. She sponsors the “SheHacks in Africa” community that grows to 200+ female engineers in 2021.
