Bio
Jonathan leads work on product strategy and standards at Worldpay, FIS’ merchant acquiring business. He is an award-winning payment professional with over 24 years’ experience in leading payment innovation, with a proven track record in mobile payments, contactless NFC and EMV. During his tenure at Worldpay he has delivered Europe’s first contactless solution, the world’s first EMV Chip and PIN implementation and the first mass pilot of zero hardware phone as a terminal. Jonathan has been granted a number of payment patents from his innovation work.
Jonathan is a sought out advisor within the payments industry in both the UK and Europe. He currently holds a seat on the EMVCo Board of Advisors and represents FIS at the W3C.
