Dr. Abbie Barbir is a leader in digital security and identity management with over 25 years of experience. As a Senior Security Advisor, his work spans IAM, mobile security, and the development of user-friendly, resilient authentication protocols. He co-founded the ADI Association (ADIAssociation.org) and serves on the FIDO Board, where he drives global identity standards and advances next-generation authentication technologies for regulated industries, with a current focus on integrating government-issued digital IDs with decentralized frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Dr. Barbir holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University. As a professor, systems architect, and inventor, his innovations in data compression, encryption, and secure algorithm design enhance digital identity verification.
